Q: What do we do with the unfinished packets?
A: You can save them for summer review
Q: What is an AR book?
A: An AR book is any age appropriate or reading level appropriate book that your child enjoys having you read to them or they read to you. On Friday you will help your child sign into AR. The link is on the specials page. You enter your child's first initial and last name. Their password is 1234, type in the name of the book and then click start AR test. Read your child the comprehension questions that go with their book . They will answer and the program will record their score.
Q: Where can I find the sight words?
A: The kids will not be memorizing sight words because I have no way to assess them. However each week there are words of the week that will be focused on in the text etc. I will be continuing to teach them new word families.
Q: Do they need to memorize bible verses?
A: No, again this is due to me being unable to do assessments. However I will be teaching them a bible story a week.
Q: Do they need to read everyday?
A: YES!!!! Reading to your child everyday is so important

A: Anytime you want
